Aaran nodded and followed his directions. He successfully found the room, and sat down on the cot in the corner. There wasn't much else in the room besides the cot, just a table and chair and a change of clothes, but he didn't mind. The bed was comfortable and the table and chair was all that he needed. He sighed and lay on the bed, exhausted.
Taylor nodded slowly then shifted. She stumbled on her own paws and fell to the floor, asleep.
Elina watched Aaran walk away. She then focused on Enoch as he walked over. "So the pacifist wants to be a warrior now? What a curious turn of events. " She said smoothly.
Enoch stared at her as he said, "Don't give me that. I know Racine put Thorn up to that. I know this, because Aaran is still alive. He was playing cat and mouse for a reason. Now why?"
Elina looked away and said, "I'm sure I have no idea what you mean. Racine doesn't share his thoughts with no one, let alone me. I was instructed to observe Aaran's response and skill level."
Enoch wasn't buying it. She did have Racine's ear. She was working an angle. "Well, it seems he's doing what Racine wanted. He has plans for Aaran. Even if you wouldn't tell me, I know my king." He said as he turned to leave.
Nashton grinned as he hugged Taylor back. "I see that and I'm very glad you are. He said happily.
