Ugghhh...we got 19 "sexed" pullets and we have at least 6 roos that we know of so far. :-(

Unfortunately, depending on the hatchery (if these were hatchery sourced) there is a 5-15% error rate for chicks that are vent sexed. Sometimes a person can be the unlucky "winner" of the surprise cockerel lotto. One way to avoid the issue is to choose sex linked birds or auto-sexing breeds.
That's really poor if they are coming from a hatchery as most hatcheries will guarantee 90% accuracy on sexed pullets. If they are from a hatchery, I would take pics of those you know are roos and contact the hatchery and see if they will reimburse you for the extra roos. If they refuse, I would warn other BYC members about ordering from them.

What hatchery was that? I was just about to order an Australorp hen from the hatchery in cucamonga California. Now I'm thinking of just getting a black sex link from the local feed store to avoid the anxiety

I got them from my local Tractor Supply and Southern States. I'm not sure what hatcheries they use.
If you contact the tractor supply store and ask them, they should tell you which hatchery they order from.

I don't think I'd fully fault the hatchery. I've heard employees at the stores may not always put the chicks back in the correct bins.

Out first set of chicks from tractor supply we got 5 roosters out of 15 pullits. The employees don't know what they are doing with the chicks and have very little info on them. I think tractor supply needs to educate thier staff better.

I got 3 Roos from 6 "pullets" from TSC as well
