If only 1 chicken out of our flock of 12 had 1 worm in their poop do I need to deworm the whole lot of them? I hate to not be able to get the eggs for 2 weeks.

long thin white spaghetti looking worm. Just 1 and all other poop in coop looks fluffy/healthy. I did treat with wazine in the water starting this morning and I heard apple cider vinegar to make their stomachs inhabitable in their daily water afterwards. The chicken that had the worm now looks almost like she threw up on herself? She seems more active today and not as lethargic but the fluid going down her neck is concerning. I clean the coop daily fresh water twice daily. for 12 hens and 1 rooster we have a 50 foot by 20 foot fenced in area with their coop and a 8 foot by 8 foot and 4 foot high run off the coop for shelter from sun/rain /snow etc in the fenced in area. Am I doing something wrong is that not enough space? its high ground/dry (except for rainy days obviously but dries quickly) and they have plenty of space for dust baths etc. any insight would be appreciated.

Parasites happen; it sounds like they are roundworms. Piprizine will kill many of them (not all) and needs to be repeated in ten to fourteen days. With a small number of birds, consider treating them individually rather than in their water. You will know that everyone got the right dose, and that they are actually drinking well, rather than being offended by the new taste. There's no research showing that vinegar does anything like that, or that changing the crop ph is healthy. Mary

oh I read on a few threads of people saying crushed garlic/acv naturally help with parasites? would that roundworm cause the vomiting she seems to be experiencing?
