FEATHER AGAIN

I have two chickens which are showing signs of feather loss i am almost definite it is depluming mite. however i have applied mite powerder for about a week now and it is showing no signes of doing anything! is there anything else i can do?

Have you seen any tiny bugs on the chicken, or see evidence of eggs? Is the bare spot on her belly or back? Does she sleep on a roost at night, or on the floor? Has she been showing signs of broodiness, or wanting to sit on eggs? Here are some good links about mites and lice in poultry:

no i cant see any bugs or eggs anywhere, the spot is on her belly. she sleeps on the roost and occasionally in the nesting box. no she has shown no signs of broodiness. also there are half feathers on her where it looks like she snapped them off. but there is no feather picking of each other.
