I have been offered this flock have no idea what mixed breed they are nor what sex. Any one have any suggestions to either fact? I hadde thought to get a small group of Australorps being as how they are good layers and at the sometime quite calm but someones offered me these. Any thoughts?

There are several cockerels, but also some pullets. The three birds in the front in the second photo look like cockerels (particularly the one on the left and in the middle). In the first photo, the two brown birds on the right and the brown bird in the back, third from the left look like cockerels. I also think that one of the white ones is a cockerel.

However, it is hard to be sure from the photos (close-ups of each individual bird are best for determining gender). As for breed, the white ones are likely White Leghorns or White Rocks, the brown birds are probably Light Brown Leghorns or Welsummers, and the large bluish-white bird in the center may be an Orpington.
