I've been nursing a sick chicken in a crate for about 2 weeks. I couldn't figure out exactly what was wrong with her-egg bound, peritonitis, worms? She seems ok and is eating (yogurt, eggs, pellet food) but has "poopy butt". This morning she strained and this came out of her. The big part had a regular egg inside of it and it smelled awful. Any thoughts on what this gross thing could be?
