The shell piece was leathery.... Like a snake egg. The small blob was soft and gelatinous...
I just don't have a clue!!!!

No no one has seen it befor i have looked for pic but can find one that looks like one but no luck

So I googled "strange eggs", there's lots of pics of this!!! Evidently it's pretty common...
Funny, most of the picture links, lead back to Back Yard Chickens!

Lack of calcium, one egg got stuck up in her and combine with the second one that actually was big enough to push both of them out, your lucky they came out otherwise, you would have had a big issue on your hands.  Remember, eggs are not hard when inside, going threw the process of exiting..
