Hey, for some reason I cant edit my main post so im just gonna post it here:

A chick hatched!

he/she is very quiet, hasn't really cheeped at all to my recollection.

Another egg piped but hasn't zipped yet. now Im just waiting for the others to hatch.


And here are the silkies. Its amazing how fast they grow!!!
Fluffybutt, a buff and probably a cockerel.

Snookie, a partridge and most likely a pullet

And KFC, black (possibly a blue, does anyone here know?) and probably a cockerel but hopefully pullet.


Again sorry I had to post like this but it seems after 2 weeks or some amount of time, you cant edit you're post

That's great! Luke meister, they're s o cute! Congrats on your hatch! Unfortunately, my egg embryo rotted because, I think, when it was under my broody, she pooped on it and it became contaminated. :-(
I am going to try again in a week, will keep you posted! Thanks for being so supportive guys!

I was really hoping he'd hatch.
The chick is doing great but the quail egg that pipped still hasn't hatched yet. If he doesn't start to zip in a few hours I'm going to attempt an assisted hatch (and yes, after 24 hours).

UPDATE:

Just got back from the fireworks show, happy 4th of July!!!

I just did an assisted, hes not in the best of shape. I put him in a cup to try and help his legs but he keeps flipping over onto hi back. Can anyone help?:


Theres a quail egg in the incubator that just zipped almost all the way around:


Again can anyone help me with the chick?
