Resistant eye infection

I have a Silkie pullet that has had an ongoing eye issue/infection. Her eye is very watery (to the point her top knot is all crusty on that side of her head) with occasional "foam" in the corner of her eye. I never see any white or thick discharge.

Here is what I have tried so far but nothing seems to bring her relief.

1. Saline wash with Neosporin applied twice daily
2. Teramycin eye ointment
3. Thought it might be a mite or scabie of some sort so I tried a drop of frontline on her head, neck and belly
4. Deworming with Safeguard
5. I'm now using Cytogen eye wash followed by a Gentamycin eye ointment twice daily. I have trimmed all of the hair around her eyes - she now has a mowhawk!

None of this is having any effect. She is eating/drinking/acting normal but does scratch at her eye and has lost her eyelashes. The other eye is completely normal!

Any suggestions on what else I can try?

Hey! I know it's like a month later, but my Easter egger is having a similar problem. I actually ended up taking her to the vet just to make sure she didn't have something that would spread to the rest of my girls.

Vet gave me amoxicillin pills and some eye drops!

Her appetite is great and she's drinking, but her eye just looks terrible!
