Has my gosling broken his wing?

Hi everyone,

I'd be grateful if you could look at the pictures of my gosling and give me your opinion on whether you think he's broken his wing? and if so, what I can do about it

He was fine going to bed last night, but when I let them out this morning, I noticed that his left wing is sticking out slightly - I caught him and had a quick feel, but not sure I really feel anything significant to be honest, but then I am new to raising Geese, so may have missed something.

Any advice would be gratefully received and if you do think its broken, what could I do to help him?

Looks like it maybe the beginning of angel wing not sure because pics aren't close enough but you'll be catching it at a great time to correct it since it looks like feathers are just beginning to grown in. Here is a link to how to wrap for it.

Welcome to BYC and keep us updated on how your lil on is doing, they are beautiful by the way.
Might want to research angel wing some say it is too high protein others think genetic.

Thank you so much for your kind response. I have looked at him closer and done some research and it does look to be angel wing. I am going to attempt to wrap it this afternoon. Hoping I've caught it early enough.

Since it's just the beginning I think you have a good chance of correcting it .

strapped up 'Aubrey's' wing and left it with him for a day and a half - took it off yesterday just to see how it was getting on, and it seems to have been completely reversed. I had a quick look elsewhere online and some say it can be reversed this quickly, so couldn't be happier that it all seems well. Will keep an eye on him as he grows to make sure it doesn't start to go back to the way it was, but just thought I'd report to say all is good!! Thanks again for the advice!

Looking good, and catching it early I'm sure had alot to do with it. They are so pretty.
 
I know this is an old thread, but I was hoping you could me know how your gosling is doing? I just discovered that one of mine has the same thing

Also, what kind of gosling is that? That's exactly what my Lucy looks like and even though I was told she was an American Buff, all her feathers seem to be coming in white. This is my first year raising geese (obviously)
