Chicken bumble foot

I've never used that product on chickens, but both the ingredients I think are used on chickens, so it should be safe. I'm not sure about dosage, however.

Thank you, BTW what do you think about the other foot in the image above ?

Hello everyone!
Anybody remembers me?
I've posted this topic a year ago, my rooster foot was very bad and huge, I was hopeless so I couldn't post more, my rooster became so tired no cocking, no eating so I've re-done the surgery and excised as much as I could, I was able to clean the wound and limit the size, I removed huge nails, with good care and healthy food (garlic, onion, cucumber and yogurt) and other vitamins and veg, I also gave him an antibiotic course, gradually he became better, started to eat, cock and walk, I bought him a chicken he was okay with the company and the care, he became much better with minor limitation, after 4 months, the foot started to grow bigger and I took good care of it but no improvement, now it's so huge that I don't know what to do, I decided to do another surgery and after excising the necrotic tissue, there is this soft tissue that will bleed if you cut it as if it is a blood vessel, the foot is huge and full of these stuff but no pus neither nails, sorry for the long update but how to deal with that????
Any advices?
P.S : I couldn't take any photo :(

I'm so sorry to hear that. You have been doing a wonderful job taking care of him. I'm not sure what else can be done, it could just be the scar-tissue making it so large. Is it hot, swollen or oozing?

Hello GitaBooks!

Thanks for the reply, no it doesn't ooze, neither hot but it is swollen, so big with white necrotic tissue that when removed the soft/pink soft tissue appears beneath it, the later tissue is taking the whole foot and I can't cut it because it bleeds and it seems endless..

Try putting some epson salts in warm water and put a rag in it and make a compress. Hold this rag against his foot. I've always used epson salts for bumblefoot. It draws it to a head so when you take the scab off it pulls the core with it.

Thank you pattyhen!

I will search for it and will apply it as soon as I find it.

Thanks for asking :)

He is doing well, in spite of his foot bad condition, I kept the bandage so that he won't feel so much pain, we kept the other rooster (the one who became stronger than him & threats to beat him) away, now his psychological status is better, he feels that he is in control again, he became stronger, cocks and eats well, moves with little limitation, I think I'll leave his foot for now and if he relapses again,I'll do him another surgery for decompression.
