Ernie is a very handsome, friendly boy. We got him at one day old, mixed in with hens at the hatchery - unfortunately our zoning ordinance prohibits roosters. He was raised free ranging in a fenced yard with dogs and children, even had him loose in the front yard with me. He comes running at the sound of treats, does not mind being picked up, sits next to us on the stoop. We will miss him, but would rather see him go to a good home than be forced by the town to return him to the store.

Unfortunately we had to bring him back to the store, but they have a small farm there and were going to keep him on. I wish we could have kept him, but it was a matter of time before the neighbors would have complained.

Still need a home for Ernie if not I might be interested I live in Harrison Arkansas if it matters

Thanks for the interest, we couldn't keep him and had to bring him back to the farm he came from.

Hi Cassey, I don't know where you are but Ernie went to Benedict's in Monroe, CT - here's their website www.benedictsgarden.com
I'm sure they'd be interested in selling if you're local.
