Alaska!! 12wk old Light Brahma Rooster needs home!

I have a 12wk old Light Brahma Rooster (just found out "she" was a "he" when he started to crow two days ago) that needs a home. He is very sweet tempered and is Ok with being held and petted...if you can catch him
I had ordered all pullets from McMurray Hatchery around Easter but just found out I have a Roo in the bunch. He is pretty quiet for the most part. Only a crackled crow now and then when he sees me outside.
I would love to keep him but due to close proximity of neighbors, cannot keep him. I also do not want fertilized eggs.
He is listed on our area Craigslist but if someone local (Anchorage/Mat-Su area) is willing to give him a good home, he is yours for absolutely free. I just hate to think that because he is on CL that someone will just use him for purposes other than being a pet.
I realize it is difficult to re-home a Rooster but I need to at least try for his sake. I love my chickens and it breaks my heart...
So PLEASE PLEASE anyone in the Anchorage Alaska area wanting a LIGHT BRAHMA Roo, please let me know. Thank you.

Just an update since I can't seem to remove this post: Unfortunately since there have been no takers on my sweet Roo, we had no choice but to humanely euthanize him. We realized this may have to happen when we ordered from a hatchery as they state their sexing is about 90% accurate. Luckily out of 21 chickens we only ended up with one Roo.
