July 2015 Hatch A Long HAL

My first chick!!!! I am so excited. Momma is sitting on 9 more eggs. Hope I get more!
So now my question(s) is:
Can I move momma and nest to a cage today before the rest hatch?
She is about a foot above the floor of the coop. I am worried about the babies. Or should I leave them in the 12x12 nest and put up a barrier so mom can get out but babies can't for a few more days?
How long do I need to keep them apart from the flock?
I would like to let momma take care of them in the flock

Thanks
I am so excited did I mention that!!!!!

A barrier would be good till all the chicks hatch and have a chance to recover, then move them to the floor so they can integrate with the flock. Yay chicks!!

Invented a breathable way to keep chicks separate when they hatch! This is plastic mesh found in the craft aisle, it is used for cross stitch projects from what I understand. Cut slits in the carton and pushed the mesh into the slits. Terrible picture but here's the general idea. I've got F1 olive Eggers and ameraucana hatching in a few days and I'm not confident that the olives will hatch with their dad's feathered legs.
