newbie here

Aw. Yeah I can't do that. I will have to bring him to the vet for euthanasia. My boyfriend offered to do a chop chop but I can't bear the thought. He was 21 pounds in August and has only gotten larger. I would estimate 30 pounds now. In the past weeks he has slid down the cool ladder and landed on his keel and slid down the coop ladder and landed on his back and had to be helped upright. Right now I've got him in the goat pen to separate him from my royal palm Tom and so he doesn't have to go up and down the ladder. I feel like he's lonely but all he's doing is strutting and puffing.

My wife and I have a very different relationship with our birds. We allow our two to sleep with us on cold nights and as a treat during the summer. My wife's Tom is the goofy one and my hen is a daddy's girl, won't leave my side when I'm sick or hurt.
