Has anybody ever heard of feeding your chickens soup in the winter or done it themselves? If so what kind? Homemade? Canned?

I think that the term "chicken soup" refers to an ingredient in the soup and not to the soup's final destination.
How do you intend to serve soup to a chicken without the chicken wearing more of the soup than it ingests?
Besides, it is very hard to teach a hen or a rooster how to best eat a bowl of soup with a spoon without your poultry making gross slurping sounds with their lips.
I smell a snipe hunt in the offering.

My chickens and rooster eat from bowls with no issues. The idea of the soup is more to keep your flock warm than feeding them a meal...
