Hello All! I am new to the group and just starting off with ducks - but would love to move onto chickens too! Right now i have 13- 6 week old ducks - not a 100% sure on sex and breeds yet since i got straight run and wanted to see what types may suite us best in future I have from what i am guessing, 1- blue swedish, 3 crested (i believe one is fawn, rouen and white crested), black runner, 2 pekins, and 6 rouens.

I grew up on a farm and had ducks when i was younger so i have some knowledge and excited to learn more from everyone!

I hope to get ducks one day, but right now I only have chickens. If you have any questions about chickens, I'd be glad to answer.

Do you have any duck tips that could help out a newbie?

Welcome to the Backyard chickens flock. You may want to post on the "Duck thread," where others may be able to tell you what breeds and gender they are. If you have chickens questions, we will do our best to answer them for you.
