How did the Falcon get in our coop?

We had a chick named Roger brave withy a broken leg and I left the chicks in the coop because of school I got back from school all the chicks hiding in the coner and a falcon walking in our chicken coop Roger died... Because of that falcon and I was heart broken to see him died the one and only loving chick I love died but how did the falcon get in our coop? We had a little hole next to the roof did it went in there were Roger died all the 14 chick were ok but how how how how did the falcon get in there.

I am like a PET DETECTIVE.. I would tell you how the falcon entered if I was at your location.. Other than that , maybe thru that hole next to the roof. Hunger will drive animals to drastic measures.

My dad says it stop were the hole was and attacked is that true I was like a falcon turning to adult one
