It's not quite finished but here it is. I really love the overhangs on each end. Living in the Pacific Northwest makes cover essential! We were going to build a shed and divide it in half but the cost was just too much. Since we didn't have the storage we first planned we bought a big deck box and it works perfectly. The sloping fence drives my husband crazy but it works for now.

These doors open to a storage area for feed and such. I have planted 4 O'Clocks and Hollyhocks around the coop. There is a climbing rose bush on the left.

This is the view from our pergola. The Butterfly bush provides afternoon shade and helps screen the coop from the neighbors a bit.

The first week I had the birds, we had record temperatures, a scary heat wave! It was 109 degrees! So the coop promptly resembled Redneck-Row when I added a sheet (which provided shade and which I hosed down periodically to provide cooler air. I used a fan and I also hosed down the roof frequently and gave my girls extra water.
