We have a mix of different chickens. We have 4 Red Star hens, 2 Buff Orpington hens, 3 young mix-breed pullets, 1 black Amerauacana hen, 1 Buff Cochin Bantam hen, 1 Rhode Island Red rooster, 1 Splash Cochin rooster, and last but not least, 1 Splash Cochin/black Ameraucana chick. That's a total of 14 chickens; a fairly small flock, but I plan on hatching more in my homemade incubator (when it's finished!)

ABOUT ME:

I love raising chickens, I'm currently building an incubator, and I'm a Vegetarian. I love animals and I can't wait to start hatching some more of our own eggs in the incubator when it's finished!

EVENTS:

Currently, all of the chickens are molting (or starting to) and it's getting colder and colder! Soon, Oreo will be graduating to the coop outside to join the older chickens. But for now, we are getting her and her new flock to know each other.
