Welcome to our family page!

We are just getting started in this adventure. We have 6 Barred Rock hens almost ready to start laying. As of right now, we have the coop finished, but are still working on the run. We're hoping to have a good size run area. If things go well, we are looking to increase the flock with some Speckled Sussex hens and Arauncana's and maybe a few Leghorns.

But as for now, we're taking it one step at a time. I'll try to post some pictures later, but  I can at least introduce you to our family's latest additions...Liz P, Lizzie, Fire, Cluckers, Hilda, and Matilda. 

Who knows? My husband may even put up a chicken cam one day!
