1. Breeding Good Quality Black Sexlinks and Rhode Island Reds since April 2009.            

Hello I'm a Chicken, Horse, Dog, Cat and Fish lover.  I can't help but name all my chickens.  Their names are Chili, Pepper, Marshmellow, Blueberry, Peep, Rusty, Babs, Bunty, Coal, Butterscotch, Penny, Carmel, Zoe and Little Shadow the 2nd. I have a pair of Rhode Island Reds Rusty and Bunty.  Two Barred Rock hens, Pepper and Chile.  Marshmellow, Blueberry and Peep are my Ameraucanas or Easter Eggers.  Penny is a Red sexlink hen and her daughter Babs is 2/3 RIR and 1/3 Red sexlink hen.  

 I live in the Beautiful state of Tennessee. 

Okay enough about me, back to the animals.  I've raised 9 broods of chicks (with their broody mothers) since summer of '05.    Of course I've had my share of troubles with predators like Raccoons  and one of my cats.

I've had my dog "Blackie" ever since she was born on our 3 acre farm.  She is 11 years old.  She is really protective of my chickens.  She is a Redbone X Bluetick X Beagle mix. 

My favorite breed of Horse is the Friesian.  I would like to own one of these magnifencents animals and name it "Black Silk".  I also love Arabians and every single type of horse that is in the entire world!!!!!

My favorite season of the year is Spring.  Autunm is my second favorite. Summer is my third favorite and Winter is my fourth favorite.  The real reason why I tolerate the cold temperature of winter is because Christmas makes it worth it.  With all the pretty Christmas lights. 

My Brother has been in the United States Navy since October of 2008. He looks SO handsome in his uniform. He gets to come home for my Birthday and Christmas AND for the New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooo Hooo!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait till December!!!!!!!!
