Hey there y'all!!!

I'm a Hokie who is currently living on the Eastern Shore.  I worked in the poultry industry for a while, and have decided that I'm going to start my own free-range flock so that I can give my chickens all that those industry chickens never had.

 Here's my current family:

I've been trying to find a picture of my leopard gecko, Zell, but they must all be on my dead computer.  I'll see if I can recover one.

I'm planning to get some chickens in the spring.  I'm thinking Blue Silkies, Rhode Island Reds, and Barred Rocks.  And I'm hoping to stay between 5 and 8 birds *crosses fingers*.  I'm going to spend the winter getting my coop all built and getting everything ready.  I'm one of those animal owners who tends to over-research everything before she brings anyone home.  It's saved me a lot of trouble in the past.

Well that's me in a nutshell!
