One of my hens has been laying eggs (5 to date - we call her THE UGLY) the other hen just started and they are way 2 soft (we call her THE BAD). I am told that they are a little over a year old. They are some type of Bantam (grey/white = ugly 2 me) the one laying the eggs that are not soft has a bald bottom - not sure why. The one laying the soft eggs seems to be the boss of the coop. Are the 5 existing "good" eggs safe from the bad one? Should they be seperated? THE GOOD - our Roo seems 2 enjoy them both and gets upset when one strays 2 far from him. Any suggestions???
