Our family is extremely artistic so, when we decided to get chickens, we couldn't just have a coop, our chickens needed a temple! My dad went to work on designing our temple and after many revisions settled on the current design, which needed to be tall enough so he and I could walk in it (I'm 6' and he's 6' 4"). We don't have many pictures of the construction progress but the few that we have i'll post.

As a laugh we got our chickens foot prints (and names) in the cement at the bottom of the coop
Now to take a leap in time to view the finished coop
With the human door open
next we have our nesting boxes
On top of the coop we have a chicken effigy to eternally guard our chickens
On the other side of the house theres a window right int front of the roosts

The Roosts
The poop board underneath the roosts (makes it very easy to clean up poop)
storage space for food, oak shavings, sand and tools in the coop
Ladder up to the roosts, with our silver laced wyandotte (lacie) peeking inside

Some pictures of their run, I doubt the chickens will be able to get rid of these plants, they NEVER go away....
I also attached some roosts to the supports of the run. Also they have an old rotten log for them to peck at, lots of bugs!

Their specially crafted dust bath made of dirt, sand, ash, and diatomaceous earth, they haven't been using it though
, We think we need to put more of it in.
