So a buddy of mine and I bought 30 quail eggs and popped them in an incubator. I haven't had birds in a long time and was a little desperate to rear up some chicks again. Long story short I was about to give up but decided to candle them one last time and one of them had development.
If it hatches we're calling it "Eggbert."
On the 13th day of incubation I float tested him. I was disappointed that there was no movement but then I tried whistling at him and he would wiggle in response. He's on day 15 now in lockdown fingers crossed that all goes well.
