A Simple Way to Keep Chickens Cool for the Summer.

Nice misting system! Thanks for sharing.
Nice misting system!

Misting works best in places with low humidity
I myself have the same mister, I got it at Walmart. I like the way you attached it to the trees, creative! I attached mine onto my run fence since it was close to my faucet. The chickens do love them! Mine also like digging in the mud lol. Great article! I just wrote my first today as well on the same subject, but I forgot to mention the MISTER lol. Thumbs up!
I would like to know what kind of misters you have, where you got them and how you've hooked them up. I can't really tell from the pictures what's going on with your setup and I'm really interested. I only have a mister that I got at Coastal Farms that looks like this:

It's an Orbit Cobra Misting Stand but there doesn't seem to be a way I can connect more than one. Your system looks more effective... if a bit complicated. Please show your process... maybe it's easy. A description by each photo would be super helpful.

I cannot remember what brand of misters I got, but I got them at the local True Value because for some strange reason Home Depot and Tractor Supply didn’t have any. I string to tie them to branches as well as small clips that came with the misters. I also got a a brass hose splitter (the brass lasts much, much longer) so I could hook up two mister lines to the end of the hose. I also looped part of the main hose over a tree branch. If you can’t loop the main hose over a tree branch to keep the misters up higher I suggest putting a ladder or something similar up to hold up the hose.
