I found the BackYardChickens.com History very interesting, and I nearly laughed my pants off when I read the April Fools Day pranks, espeicially April Fools - BYC Hacked!!

This was written just a few months before I got my first chickens. When I started researching how-to's this site was always the first thing to pop up. Thank you for this site and for all the help it offers. I hope to be able to offer help paying it all forward over time.

Enjoyed reading this short article on the history of the site, but was also looking forward to learning a little more about the other people who contribute on a daily basis... like the staff, moderators, greeters and especially @NiftyChicken. If this isn't the place, then a link would be awesome.
