HI There! My name is Amy. I asked my husband if we could get some chickens mainly for the eggs. We got 7 Gold Comets. A friend had some Bantam chicks and I couldn't resist. My husband did some buying and selling so we now have: 6 Black Sex-Links, 4 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, 6 Dominickers, 3 Bard Rocks, and 6 Rhode Island Reds on the standard side. I also have: 2 BB Reds, 3 Golden Sebrights, & 2 Self Blues on the Bantam side. My family consists of my wonderful and tolerant Husband, a 19 year old son, a Miniature Dachshund, a Dachshund/German Shepherd mix ( yes you read it right ) & a Golden Retriever. Whew! It is safe to say that things are a wee bit crazy around here! I love each and every one of my family members, even the Human ones!
