Almond Tea

    12 c. water
    4 bags family sized tea bags
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. fresh lemon juice
    4 tsp. almond extract
    2 tsp. lemon extract
    garnishes: lemon, lime & orange slices

    Cooking Instructions

    Bring 4 cups water to a boil and pour over tea bags. Cover and steep 10 minutes. Discard tea bags. Bring remaining 8 cups water and sugar to a boil in a large saucepan; stirring constantly and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in tea, lemon juice and extracts. Chill and serve over ice w/garnishes if desired. Yields: 3 quarts
