More Chooks!!!(Part 2) This next page will be about my Blue, Blue/Green and other Non-Standard Ameracauna (EE) type birds. Some of them rescued, others bought , bred, and or were feral that I caught/received. I have one that the flock doesn't really bother with because she had a leg injury that healed wrong. She, Patricia, was a rescued feral bird that one of my school teachers wanted to remove from her yard. I am also putting in Breeding that occurred as my venture to change. But had...
Aloha & Welcome to the Island with Rainbows!!!!! Aloha All!! My name is Dee. I live on the luscious Island of Maui. Where the weather is unpredictable. Mostly rainy but the sun does come out and bring us rainbows. I have been raising Chickens ever since I was in the 5th grade. My first hen was Henny Penny named after that lovely book. I got this Hen from my teacher, Mrs. Young. I believe it was a Black Standard Cochin. (From what I recall, my teacher had a closed flock of them.) I...
Even More Chooks(Part3)!!! Alright there are more to my Birds than just those. I have a Blind group. which will consist of two+ hens and about two+ roos. Unfortunately one will be culled due to his aggression toward the females. I have a Blue/Banty Group. There were Chickens that were caught with that unique blue color. I have Dela, Cre and Rebu in this group. However their mother is in the pattern group AON. Plus other offspring that were born to the group, I may even Break them up...

I have groups that I place all my chooks into. Some are slowly being integrated and placed as I figure out what I am looking for. I have the following groups: 1) Game Group (mostly feral game type birds) 2) Pattern Group (unique patterns and diverse coloring) 3) Feather Legged Group (hens with feathered...
More Chooks!!!(part4) I do not know if you all are sick of seeing my chooks. But I think I am done with this final page. I have some hens I for got to mention in previous pages. One group basically got introduced already. Some are in transitional cages and will make the move soon. But they may even be placed in another group entirely. I am still debating. This is a slow process and the decision will be sooner than I think. (PLANS) I have some stories I would like to share about certain...
Inltro 2011 Aloha Everyone!! So I decided to revamp my groups by roatating, combineding, and Selling off my Game Hens. I really feel like it is a time to change and just keep large layers. But I have not gotten rid of all my Game Gals. I am gong to keep the unique pattern ones. I want to breed them to my EE Cross Males, RIR, Males, etc... But I am still debating at the moment as to which males i want to pair these gals to. I have rotated other hens into the House that the Game Gals...
My Flock!!!(part 3) T his page will consist of other birds that will be placed or are in transition to be placed. Also my descesed birds, sorry pics limited for them. I don't know if I have mentioned this but to those who have not visitied the Hawaiian Islands, you may notice that my birds kind of reflect our people here. Like the people my chooks consist of mix types. This my sound funny but i guess it is true for my flock, at least. I hope you have enjoyed my pages and i will see you...
