Our Coop I started this coop either late May or Early June, I cannot remember exactly which. However the important thing is that it is finally done now. The total dimensions are 12' wide by 20' long. The space for the chickens is 12'x16'. The other 4'x12' is storage space containing all feed, bedding and anything else. Appleyard Estate Well what started out as 13 chickens quickly expanded to 100+ chickens, 30+ ducks, 8 turkeys, 11 peafowl, 16 ornamental pheasant, and 20 various quail thus far. We are always adding to the flock! My name is Brandy and my wonderful husband is Brandon. We live on a 27 acre piece of property that we are gradually turning into a farm that we call "Appleyard Estate." We have a 3/4 acre pond with a creek running through it which is just perfect for our ducks. Well...
We currently own several types of calls, 5 Crested ducks, 3 Silky ducks, an Australian Spotted male, 2 Rouens, and a Jumbo Pekin named Duckzilla. Here are a few pictures of my ducks. I recently added a pair of Mandarin, White Mandarin, Ring Teal, Chiloe Wigeon and Pintail, and a trio of Wood Ducks! So excited hopefully more to come soon!
