Hello everybody! Just thought I would tell ya'll a little bit about myself. Now where do I begin.......
I am a stay at home mom of 4 amazing kids, and 1 dh. I live in SW Georgia, in one of those little town's that if you blink you miss it, lol. I never dreamed that I would own chickens. I have plenty of other animals just never chickens. Well let me tell you, I am totally addicited. About 8 months ago me and my good friend "rescued" 5 chickens, 1 roo and 4 hens. They belong to another neighbor of ours who just let them rom free and they kept getting in to someone else's yard. Anyway to make a long story short, they were gonna be supper if we didn't catch them. So needless to say, they came to live at my house. Shortley after that 3 more chickens popped up at the same place 1 roo and 2 hens, my flock just got bigger. They are awesome. Although we can't put the 2 roo's together they are doing really well. Goober is quiet happy on the other side of the fence as long as he can see his girls! Well since the "addiction" has started I have just continued to add to the collection. I have 19 RIR's and EE's that are 6 weeks old, and ready to go outside to a grower pen. I have atleast 25 BR's, Dominiker's, and 5 polish in the brooder now that just hatched sunday. I also bought a pair of bantam's 2 weeks ago. 3 bantam eggs in the bator, more on the way. A broody hen who I am gonna let hatch 3 more bantam eggs....... and the list goes own. Life couldn't get any better than this. Well, I could win the lottery, lol, and buy more chickens haha!
