I have always wanted chickens but hadn't had the chance to till this year when we got a bigger yard. 
So we got everything together and on March 18, 2010 we picked up 10 little chicks at Farm King. As they grew they needed a new place my dad and I built a coop (mostly dad I'm not that helpfull when it comes to building things). But it soon became clear we had too many roos so we gave away 3 little ones thinking that we only had 1 more roo, but we now know we had 3 more so soon 2 will be going to a new home. When that is done we will have 5 chickens left Peppy(roo) ,Henry(hen) ,Henriatte(hen) ,Shakespeare(hen) ,and Duplicate(hen). | |
