Needed a place for my 9 youngster since winter is here until they were old enough to join the flock. Then will add my 10 newer ones I got last week as they get feathers.
Use alot of old wood I had with only buying the wire and some 1x2s. The tops open up and the one end also, so the chicks can have field days outside. I have a handle on the other end so pulling is easier. So far they love the added room. It's 3ftx4ft, 24 inches high without the legs...Pretty good for an ex-city boy.
