Needed a place for my 9 youngster since winter is here until they were old enough to join the flock. Then will add my 10 newer ones I got last week as they get feathers.

Use alot of old wood I had with only buying the wire and some 1x2s. The tops open up and the one end also, so the chicks can have field days outside. I have a handle on the other end so pulling is easier. So far they love the added room. It's 3ftx4ft, 24 inches high without the legs...Pretty good for an ex-city boy. [IMG] In the workshop at night and outside during the day when nice... Sorry there are no pixs of it as I built it, I joined 2 days after making it...

A lot more info on the build and how it's working out would be good.
