Bumblefoot How To Treat Your Chickens With Surgery Graphic Pics

I have referenced this article multiple times to do bumblefoot operations and I’ve had success with this exact method on all but one of my hens. I realized her bumblefoot kept coming back was because I wasn’t clearing the kernel out completely as my tweezers were missing small chunks. PRO TIP: turn a sewing pin with a flat head upside down and use the head to pull out the kernel or kernel pieces!! Since it is long and thin it will scoop out the pieces deep down you might not be able to reach with tweezers. This is what finally helped me clear my hen up. Thanks for providing the framework to help me heal my beloved hen :)
Went searching for an article tonight as one of my girls has this. Will perform surgery tomorrow.
Very clear and helpful.

I never knew what bumble foot was until I read this article. I hope I never have to deal with it, but if I do, I now know how. Thanks.
