We are new chicken owners, and did not realize how hard it would be to tell some of our chicks apart as they got bigger. We are now at week 6, and are confused about just a few of our chicks:

Black Jersey Giant, Mottled Java, 2 Ameraucanas, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 1 Buff Brahma. With these, the Black Giant Jersey which should be easy to identify, looks like one of the Ameraucana's. The two R.I. Reds don't look alike at all, but one of them looks just like the Buff Brahma. We got one RI Red from California Hatchery and she is taupe and reddish brown, looks nothing like any picture of a red we've seen. I will post pictures and maybe someone can help us out.
This is the rest of our herd!
1 White Silkie Bantam, 1 Black Cochin Bantam, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Light Brahma, 1 Delaware, 1 White Crested Black Polish, 1 Barnevelder, 1 Black Copper Maran, 1 Plymouth Barred Rock (these we have no problem identifying!)
