Butterscotch Pie

    2 c. brown sugar (packed)
    4 egg yolks
    8 tbsp flour
    1 1/2 c. cream
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 pre-baked pie shells

    Cooking Instructions

    Combine first five ingredients. Heat over medium to medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick. Remove from heat and add one stick of butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Stir until fully combined. Pour into pre-baked pie shells and allow to cool.
