Hello,
My name is Diana. My husband, John and I are from Central Michigan and we have been raising chickens now for about two years. We love all of our girls and plan to continue raising them in the future. We keep about nine different breeds currently but are always looking ahead at which ones we/I want to try next *wink*. We have 24 birds total; 21 hens and 3 roos. I do find the roos to be bothersome little fellows. We have one in particular that seems to keep his distance and that's fine with me.
Our girls are really more like pets, and most definately a source of entertainment!
I personally think finding names for them all is half the fun.
