Plan was to have enough hens to lay 1 dozen eggs a day, so after research, I figured 15 pullets should do. I ended up with 17. ; )

I've opted to name all the Leghorns "Chrissy"...they were the first to venture forth out of the mini-coop Birdello and into the "wild" of a penned in grassy area. (Christopher Columbus).
all the Golden Sex Links are named "Lucy" after the beautiful red feathers that are coming in the reminded me of my sisterinlaws Golden Retriever named...Lucy (and Lucille Ball).
all the Black Australorps are named "Maggie" because it sounded like a good, Australian name.
Araucana (I think they are simply Easter Eggers to be honest) #1 was named "Queenie" after the little V crown she has on her head, and how she treats everybody else, like they are beneath her and how dare they sleep in the middle of the place SHE wants to walk.

Baby Queenie...
Update 07/01/2010: Queenie Crows! So...Queenie is a rooster, but he is tame so far, and I still love him! He's a character, I just hope he doesn't get any super aggressive ideas, I couldn't stand that and he would need to go find a new home...
Chrissy making her way out of the Grower house...worried about the grass though!
Araucana #2 is named MooShoo because of how exotic she looks, a little bit eagle like...
