The "Chicken Foot" coop was a brain storm I had, when my next door neighbor was taking an old porch down from a mobile home. He was going to take it to the landfill, but I asked him if I could have it...he said yes, what are you going to use it for?...I can make a chicken coop out of it! These are the pics of the old porch "Chicken Foot" coop.[IMG]

This is a great reuse of an old mobile home porch. The pics are good, but some text explanations and a few interior shots would help immensely. Some questions raised:
Was the under-the-porch space utilized, or was it left as empty space?
How did you handle ventilation, nest boxes, clean-out access?
How did you ultimately handle predator proofing the run?
And most importantly, what in the world is that busy circuit box for?

okay, I need a predator proof run, is there any run like your that is predator proof?

when the chickens are inside it is predator proof...the run isn't at this time...the dog takes care of that during the day...but I am going to try the "nite eyes".
