[FONT=book antiqua,palatino]A little fuzzy butt is on the way
Cause today is it's hatching day.
Excitment soared when I saw it pip
And doubled when I heard it's peep.
Now comes the time of waiting
And lots of encouraging cooing.
Every peep it gives in answer to me
Makes me strain my eye closer to see.
At every small movement it makes
I feel my heart speed up a trace.
When finally it zips, pushing
And the egg cracks wide, streatching.
Tumbling free all tired and wet
Laying there still, resting a bit.
I forget the worry and wait now that it's done
And think only that hatching chicks is so much fun![/FONT]
