Chocolate Cream Cake

    Ingredients:


    1 cup organic butter (homemade is best)
    1/2 cup vegetable shortening
    2 1/2 cups organic sugar
    5 chemical free "The Garry Farm" eggs
    3 cups flour
    1/2 cup cocoa
    1 cup homemade plain goat milk yogurt

    Cooking Instructions


    Cream butter, shortening and sugar

    Add 5 eggs, one at a time

    Blend flour and coca together

    Add flour & cocoa mixture alternately with 1 cup homemade goat yogurt (plain)

    Grease and flour tube pan Pour in cake mixture

    Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes until toothpick is clean

    Cool in pan 15 minutes and then remove.

    Make a buttercream frosting or drizzle if you like - with butter, powder sugar, cocoa and milk to texture you like.

    If you don't have goat yogurt, plain will do, If you don't have any yogurt, you may substitute plain, unsweetened store bought yogurt.
