On the eve of my 40th birthday my sister Deb and I were chatting it up on the phone, we may have had a few glasses of wine while chatting...or more. After a few conversations and giggling as if we were back in middle school, the subject of chickens came up. My neighbors had recently acquired 5 chickens and they were loving it! I may have mentioned that I wanted to have a chicken . Next thing I know FedEx is delivering my do it yourself chicken coop at my door
So now I was ready for chickens. Off to the feed store I went but instead of chicks, I ran into the chicken lady, as we call her, and she was selling bantams at the store about 6 months old. I grabbed 3 and we were off.[IMG]
We ended up retrofitting the coop because my back was killing me bending over and feeding. Eventually we painted it, put a fence of chicken wire and poultry netting around and added a poo-dunk door, but worked!
Well....I had an itch. After looking at all the awesome super coops on backyard Chickens forums, is all of your fault! I set my sights on a super coop, or what I like say..'Chrissy pimped out chicken coop;! So I began my quest

Good little coop for a couple of birds. I can see the wire for a run, but can't make out how you did it?
