Hi, my name is Christina, I'm 21 and I live in the South Kansas City, MO area with my hubby, kid, and animals. I'm new to the chicken raising thing, but I'm now addicted to it!!!! I started out with just 10, bumped up to 13, adopted 7 more, bought 8, ordered 27......need I go on??? I absolutely fell in love with chickens!!!!
My family and I are Christians, and we try to do the God thing the best we can. Of course, we definately aren't perfect, especially me (don't tell my hubby I said that!) but we love God and love everything He's done for us! Just five years ago I was a suicidal drug addict with no hope, then God stepped in and everything changed. Three years ago my husband (fiance at the time) was on the same path until God showed Him that life doesn't have to be all bad. We've been married two years now, and God has blessed us with everything we need, including chickens!!!! LOL!!!
We love life and reaching out to people, especially people our age and younger. My husband and I went through a lot as kids and teens just like almost everyone, and God is helping us get closer to Him and to show others that He can do the same for them as He did for us.
Since we are still new to raising chickens, ANY ADVICE IS WELCOME!!!! We've made it through the first year, now we're gonna start hatching/selling.
