Breed Information, Comments, and Experience with breed:

This is Tissi (short for Rotisseri). Tissi is, or should I say was, the sweetest chicken I have ever had. She was so kind and it seems she always... obeyed. She never didn't come to her Roosters' call and always listened. She layed 3 to 4 small, creamy eggs a week. Recently, she was laying on seven eggs (two were unfertallized). While I was away a 5 foot black chicken snake got into the coop and killed her. It ate all of the remaining eggs. The next day when I went to the coop I found two chicks, well allive. One, small and black, looking excactly like her mother, hining in the laying box, and the other, looking excacly like HER mother, eating and pecking around outside. They are addorible (see https://www.backyardchickens.com/breeds/cochin/chicken/372 and https://www.backyardchickens.com/breeds/rhode_island/chicken/371) but, this is still about Tissi. Anyways. I hope you like her :)

This was taken on the day we moved the chickens into their newly finished home. They would all cuddle into the corner to sleep. Tissi is the poofy black one.
