So after a few monts contemplating about getting some chickens , my girlfriend and I fanally decided on a chicken tractor. We have about an acre of land thats pretty open with some tall tree on one side . We wanted something that was easy to take care of since we are shift workers and work 12 hour day and nigth. the tractor started as a simple A frame designed that was suppost to be about 3 feet tall by 8 feet long and about 4 feet wide. I found a very simple plan online that would only take about a weekend and a few sheets of plywood and some chicken wire to build. it would look like this picture.
after reading post about space requirements and confort for the chickens I made a few changes to the design..
