So we are completely new at owning chickens, but with LOTS and LOTS of research on this site, we were as ready as we could be to embark on the wonderful world of chicken ownership. I searched for weeks and weeks on what kind of coop I would want and just couldn't quite find the right one. So with the very helpful hand of my very handy husband we decided to build our own. We were able to use some left over wood from the shed my husband built and a couple trips to the hardware store for 2x4's and a sheet of OSB siding we were able to create the perfect coop for our chickens.
