Here are some of the pictures of a coop I purchased on October 2nd, 2013. We bought it for $300CAD on a classifieds site. We LOVE our two chickens and can't wait to get some delicious eggs from them.

This is an overview of the coop with the nesting box on the back, and run on the front for them to go out during the day.

Main coop and run with the ladder for the chickens to go in and out during the day. The roof is made of cedar shingles and the siding is wood with the hinged door covered in water resistant stain.

Inside of the coop with the water on a rubbermaid container top to stop it from leaking on the floor. Hopper feeder also in the background. The nesting boxes are on the far left. Hinged door to make cleaning easier.

Here are the three nesting boxes, I have them blocked off with cardboard as the pullets were sleeping in them. I will open them up when the hens are near laying.

Close up view of the ladder to the coop in the run.

Nelly and Blue pecking at the grass in there run on a nice sunny day.

My two pullets Nelly and Blue. Blue was investigating my camera as I took the picture.

Two pictures from about two months ago when they were still fuzzball chicks.

First egg arrived on November 26th, 2013. BEST DAY EVER!

Anyway that is about all I can write for one day. I hope you like my coop pictures and the story of my chickens first 3 months of life.
Thanks so much for reading it.
