I am a urban farmer in Dayton Ohio. I can see downtown Dayton from my front porch. I always wanted a mini-farm. just never thought I would have it in the city. This is my chicken story ! 
These are my chick's! I started with twenty mix breeds, girls and two boys. I lose both of my boys and two of my girls!
Now to build them a safe and attractive home! .

Added a few new kids to the flock and sent some to a friends free range farm!
Just a little left to do but am proud of my work and I think my chicken are spoiled!

I still have to do the cedar wood shakes for the roof. I am also plant a nice shade tree close by! I have choose to breed Barnevelder
and Black Copper Marrans!
Might try to cross so that the Barnevelder's egg can become darker!
